Yes you can still get stds like genital warts and herpes because they can affect areas of the genitals that are not covered by a condom. If your partner happens to have a break of of one of those infections out side of where the condom protects you still have a chance of getting those stds. Also if you're not on birth control you could get pregnant if the condom breaks.
