Has Lyconcy (werewolf's disease) ever actually been found on someone?!*?!

Question:

Has Lyconcy (werewolf's disease) ever actually been found on someone?!*?

My friends and I are playing a game (game on Whitewolf.com intitled world of darkness) in which I am a mage, one friend is a vampire and the other is a werewolf. We've been doind research on mages, vampires, and werewolves when we ran into werewolf disease, lyconcy. One site said someone found a case of it in Romania, one said never has been a case and other varied results. If somone can tell me and give me a site to look at for it it would be much to my appreciation. THANKS!

Answers:

Of course werewolves are real problem in eastern europe. They have to be rounded up and euthatnized each year. The goverments have random blood tests (officials say they"re testing for something else of course) on the villigers each spring. If any positive test come up they just make those individuals disapper. They are working on an vaccine but it's poorly funded, and a very difficult process even if they had the money.
