Pneumonia takes a long time to recover from, if it's been over a few months I'd say go back into your doctor and get another XRAY to see if the pheumonia is gone completely, you may have to go on another round of antibiotics.

But it could just be gunk leftover in your lungs that is just built up and still trying to get out of your system, which is your bodies way of recovering. If you smoke, you should stop. I know that sounds redundant, but still.

Also, if you were on antibiotics for the pneumonia, it can weaken your immune system (as antibiotics do), and you could've just inherited a cold that caused bronchial irritation on some already weak and sad lungs. Just try to take it easy and don't do too much, because pneumonia is a tricky sickness that takes a long time to fully recover from.

Best of luck, and you should see your Dr. anyway, just to be safe.
