Question:
Thyroid problems ( over and unde active )?
i know of someone who was born with out a thyroid gland i myself had a over active thyroid ( have now had treatment )
also know others with same problem (over active / under active )
any ideas anyone what the ratio per population have a thyroid problem is it a common problem main reason is i live in a little village and we seem to have a high level of thyroid problems

the older i get, the more people i meet w/ thyroidism, however, i have never come across any statistics regarding the disease/s. i'm sorry.
i do know that women are more susceptible than men.
