Question: My mom has black spot on tongue.. could it be cancer?
She's already been to doctor but I don't trust them... I'm really upset because I lost my nan to cancer and I don't want to see my mom go like that...
My mom showed me her tongue and it was like a little blackish spot on the tip of her tongue probably about the size of half a pea... She stopped smoking about 7 years ago and this spot didn't come until last week. I know I'm probably over reacting but when my mom gets ill I get really worried because she's all I have.

Tell Mom go see the doctor.
Attached is a photo of tongue cancer ....... something tells me it doesnt look like this.
