Doxycycline is what doctors usually prescribe in the beginning and in severe cases that doctors prove to be lyme, they'll use Rocephin through IV. I use homeopathic stuff that a lyme literate doctor gives me. Chronic lyme is the hardest thing to deal with as it can manifest in so many ways..There are specific lab tests that can be ordered that show more detail bands of lyme. It's hard to get a conventional doctor to go that extra mile to order it. It's best to go seek help by someone that understands lyme. Someone that is not out to make money.
