I AM GOING ON A VACATION TOMMOROW I HAVE TRIED MEDICINE BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO HELP IS THERE A HOME REMEDIE THAT HAS WORKED FOR YOU OR SOMEONE YOU NO THAT COULD HELP PLEASE I AM DESPRATE

The cold is causes by a group of many viruses, so any kind of antibacterial drug is just a waste of money because viruses aren't alive, so there's nothing to kill. Medicine directed at colds only repress the symptoms temporarily. If you can't just wait it out, try these suggestions. I just got over a bad cold, and I used a decongestant inhaler. I helped some. Try Robitussin. It works pretty well to rid you of symptoms.

Most recent study came out yesterday saying that Zinc Lozenges can shorten a cold by 1 day.

Nothing else really does anything and some of the medicines actually prolong the cold.
