Question: Need help with extreme Paruresis (pee shyness) for a UA.?
Well, I have a drug test tomorrow, and it is near impossible for me to pee in front of others. I've tried drinking tons of water/coffee, yet nothing works. If I can't present a sample, my test will be deemed positive, and then I will be in a whole heap of trouble. My only plan so far is to drink so much I will die if I don't pee, but how about some other advice? Please, only people who suffer from pee shyness as well.

i was in treatment for 3 months and we had to do a ua each week. i'd recommend just drinking a lot of water, like a lot, maybe like 2-3 hrs before you have to do the UA and hold it when you have to go. maybe try closing your eyes, and imagine waterfalls. if possible, ask to have the sink on. it helps a lot.
