What is the medical term for crossed nerves in hands?
I was born with it, my father has it, my son has it. Whatever i'm doing with one hand, the other hand involuntarily moves at the same time and does the same thing as the other hand. What is the correct medical term for this genetic condition?

I've been trying to learn the medical (official) term for this thing I got for many years. My Thanks go to Pixie Chick for finally giving me a name to put on it besides just crossed nerves! Thank you!
Like people before me said, OCD Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. So many people have this. Me and my two sister do. It's really no big deal unless it starts to affect your daily life. which sometimes it can. Some people have to wash their hands hundreds times a day, or repeatedly check to see if the door is locked when they just sat down from looking. but there are some medications, such as anti-anxiety or sometimes anti-depressants that can assist in easing the need for the impulses. :)
Its probably ocd. Everybody has ocd of some degree but yours could just be that urge. And ocd is a disorder it just depends if it affects the things you do if it doesn't then i wouldnt be too worried about it. Good luck
its OCD obsessive compulsice disorder or possibly evan tourettes disorder
im a nurse and i also have tourettes
I doubt it's a disorder. OCD is probably what you're thinking.
