A mole that hurts when touched?!

Moles have a tendency to change over time so it could be going through a change. Are the borders around the mole uneven, is the color uneven? Your mole is probably changing ..if you pick at it the top will probably come off maybe even bleed. This has happened to me with several moles.
I go to a dermatologist regularly (1X/year). Take a picture of the mole. This way you can keep track of any changes. If you go see an MD, they probably will ask if it had changed or tell you to take pics. I would not worry unless it looks purplish, but if you are tanning you are increasing your chances of cancer by a lot.. we have the highest rate of skin cancer than any other generation!
Find a dermatologist, because if you tan, one day you will need one!

You need to go to a dermatologist. Not to freak you out, but a dermatologist is the only one that can check it for sure and know. This is ESPECIALLY important if you tan!!!!
