What are my chances of getting the flu?!

Question: What are my chances of getting the flu?
Earlier this year I got the flu shot. Although, I have had a sore throat all day and nothing more. Then my sis comes home and is puking because she has the flu. I don't have any other symptoms of the flu right now, just a sore throat all day. Maybe the sore throat is just a new strain of the virus evolving, IDK, but do you think i will eventually get the flu from my sis, even though I've gotten the flu shot months ago and taken airborne medicine?

If you actually have the flu your whole body would be aching and feel like you got hit by a train.

Flu symptoms come on fast and strong, not with just a little sore throat, you may just have some cold.

With that said, if you really want an additional prevention, ask your doctor to be put on Tamiflu. It works very well as a prophylaxis and there is a small chance that your sister has a rare strain of the flu not covered by the flu shot this season.

If you stay away from her. Wash your hands a lot, and don't touch ANY part of your face with your hands, the likely hood of you getting the flunks slim.

the flu shot contains a small amount of the flu so your body can make antibodies or some sh-t like that. So theoretically, you should be getting some symptoms for the first day or so.
