Usually those deeper pimples like that in that area are due to the fact of excessive sweating and too tight fitting of panties that make ingrown hairs get infected.

Obviously, being you can't see your butt, you don't notice them until they hurt (well, being you watch for them now, you probably notice them sooner).

The scars are most likely from trying to express them. I've found the best thing to do is to scratch the top off and that will help you express it without as much pressure (which causes the pain).
