can you contract chamydia if you have only had one partner for the past year and if we have been the only ones we have had sex with during that time period? neither of have ever been infected before, but i have had some symptoms,

Im sure he hasnt been with anyone besides me in the last year we live and work together so we are always together!

Chlamydia usually doesn't present symptoms in women, but men won't go long without knowing they have it. If a guy has it, he will be "pissing razorblades", so to speak. Good news is, it's easily cured, just go see your doc.

And if it is the clap and you didn't cheat on your guy, then he cheated on you, because he would not go long (most certainly not a year or even a few months) without symptoms presenting themselves in his body.

But if you think you have it because of some kind of burning sensation "down there", then it's probably just a normal vaginal or urinary infection. You still need to see a doc tho.
