I have these really tiny pin point red spots on my arms. What could they be?!

I have these really tiny pin point red spots on my arms. What could they be?

They first appeared on my arms around a year ago. Now, I am starting to get them on my chest near my neck. Should I be worried? They don't hurt or itch.

I asked the dermatologist about the little red dots on my skin because my father has the same thing. He said they are nothing to worry about because they are caused by a collection of blood vessels. I was relieved to hear they weren't dangerous. See your doctor to be sure.
