Brain scan?
My sister is going for a brain scan tomorrow,she`s 32.She has been having a numbness coming and going down the side of her face and in her hands,what sort of things will they be looking for?

hi mate, i have numbness down the side of my face, tongue..gums and my eye is sketchy also etc..i have a "bubble" that has grown in my head and it is pushing and squashing the brain hence the feelins of numbness coz the brain is not being able to work properly. i cant member how to spell the diagnosis but a scan will bring it up, i am not implying that your sister has the same thing but make sure she has at least two head scans and dont take "everythins fine" for an answer..i am goin into hospital tuesday for brain surgery to ensure t duz not continue growing..i dont want to alarm you in the slightest and its good that they can operate and make people right again.
please dont be alarmed, it might not even be the same thing.
