How to not be as tired?!

Question: How to not be as tired?
In order to get good grades in school I need to study "a lot' because I am not naturally smart. During my first semester, I was getting by with only 6 to 7 hours of sleep a night. Now I am in my second semester and barely getting by with 6 to 7 hours of sleep a night.
How can I increase the quality of my sleeps so that I am not as tired? By getting by I mean not being very tired.
Please don't say sleep more.

First of all I think you may be smarter than you think. I'm a nurse and a writer and your grammar and spelling are very, very good!
Part of the problem may be the quality of sleep that you're getting. If you are worried or stressed about your school work then chances are you are not getting the deep sleep you need. You may want to try studying a few hours after school, then put the books away and forget about them until the next morning. Don't take them to bed with you to read and don't think about assignments when you go to bed. Try listening to some music to get your mind off school for a while. Do something for yourself that doesn't involve school! Something that is just fun once in a while. If you do this I think you will find it easier to relax and you will sleep better.
Good luck. I wish you the best.

I'm a Nurse

I wouldn't suggest overloading on energy drinks, pills etc. because you end up suffering sooner or later a huge crash making you feel worse. It's kind of difficult to 'increase the quality of your sleeps' because only your mind can control the quality of your sleep. It's mainly disruptions that disturb people from getting sleep such as thinking too much about worries, try writing all of them down in a book before you sleep. Warm milk or Holicks also helps, aswell as being comfortable and warm.

Really the easiest way IS to sleep more. I know that's not what you're looking for but it is pretty much the best solution to not be as tired often. Make a timetable to balance your sleep and study periods. Study as soon as you come back from school, but not for a set time like '3 hrs', as long as you need to. Then study on weekends for 20 mins, take a break, repeat this and then after 3 hours in total (excluding breaks) take a long nap. Think about nice fantasies etc. before you sleep as motivation if you can't sleep in the day.

Basically, just study and take short nap breaks on weekdays. Then on weekends study for as long as you need to then take a long nap. This should keep you less tired. Good Luck!

well if you can't adjust your sleeping schedule, maybe you should try some 5 hour energy or some energy pills or something to help keep you alert. and like, eat healthy and stuff. if you eat junk food instead of healthy food, your energy will decrease and you'll feel like crap. maybe take some vitamins too. I take iron supplements because my iron is low and I always felt drowsy. yeah thats about it.

Well I dont know how to get better quality sleeps without making them longer.
But if you eat healthier throughout the day that will help a lot. have more snacks and maybe increase caloric intake and see how it goes
