I have a heart condition. How will this affect our plans to adopt?

I have a heart condition, but for the most part I am healthy. I am worried that this will not let me adopt. I an unable to have children because of the risk with my conditon. I have always wanted to adopt. Does anyone know how this might affect my husband and mine plans to adopt?

I have a heart condition, which i take medicine for, that will not allow me to have children. I have always wanted to adopt, but I am scared that i will be unable to because I will not be considered healthy. to look at me you wouldn't know I have anything serious. the condition is serious, but I am able to do pretty much anything I want.. except run a marathon. My husband & I are looking into international adoption. does anyone know what the conditions are for international adoption. I know each country has their own, but is there a standard?

I don't think that it will affect your plans to adopt. As long as the agency see's that you and your husband are good people and are capable of taking care of a child and giving them all the love they need. I don't see why it would be a problem for you to adopt even though you have a heart condition.
