A while back I started having pains in my left side, at first I thought it was trapped gas pains. Then it progressed to such a severity that I couldn't walk or even breath without SEVERE pain. I assumed i might have broken some ribs. Or even thought a kidney or something was the culprit. I developed a high fever and was in severe pain, drove to the ER, barley got there because the fever was so high I was very disoriented, when i got there my blood pressure was very low, i was in severe pain and I had a horrible horrible headache and I was out if it mentally. They couldn't give me pain meds because my pressure was too low. They immediately hooked me up to an IV. I recall that my white blood cells were off and they thought I had some sort of infection however they could not determine where it was coimng from, they did a blood test, and then they did an ultrasound of my kidneys to check for stones, no stones, they did see a cysts but said that shouyld not be the cause. they ended up telling my hubby that he might need to start calling my family. I was transferred to two different hospitals over the course of 3 days or so. I was supposed to see an infectious disease specialist but that never happened. The hospital I ended up in last did not do what they were supposed to and basically brushed me off. I was checked out and went home with some antibiotics, and some medicine that I was told was for stomach cramps, even though i had not stomach cramps and she said she had no idea. In short, no one ever figured out what was wrong. Any ideas, I am scared for this to happen again. I have severe left side pain right now (ovary maybe) neck and shoulder pain in left side, and am starting to get that same pain I had before it is kind of in my back midway up, just below the rib cage line to the outer side of my body. Hurts when I breath in. Pain in side is really bad when I walk. IDEAS? (besides :"go to see a doctor" i know that already.

I recall they did an abdominal ultrasound where they put some fluid in my IV that was supposed to make stones show up or something. I know I had a chest x-ray and an ultrasound and one other thing, MRI I think. They said they found nothing.

The pain I have right now in my side is not something I always have. I do always have the neck and shoulder pain (lump in my neck) I always have the pain in my side (ovary maybe) that comes and goes and aside from this. I always have cold sweats, irregular heartbeat, sleeplessness, and on the left side of my body sometimes my left arm and leg and torso will get numb and tingly, VERY numb sometimes! I have weird sensations on my skin, just a whole lot of weird symptoms. Probably leaving some out.

Anyway, the main thing right now is this pain in the left side of my back , I am starting to run a low grade fever as well which is how this started before. big mes huh?

You might have a stone in your small intestine. If a stone in the gallbladder is present, the enzymes accumulate and might cause a fistula, then the stone goes straing to your small intestine and gets stuck in the ileum. This will cause pain, inflammation. If it was near a blood source it can cause hypotension.
