Is it possible to have an STD/STI when you are a virgin, but had sexual contact !

Question: Is it possible to have an STD/STI when you are a virgin, but had sexual contact from another virgin?
I was curious about this as I haven't yet found an answer... I am a virgin and my girlfriend is too. Neither me or her have had any sexual contact with anyone before each other, and were thinking of having sex. As she is on the pill, and I am allergic to condoms we were thinking of doing it without a condom. is it possible that either of us could have - or catch - herpes or something like that? If we did happen to get it, is it treatable? Thanks

Answers:

If your girlfriend is a virgin, she doesn't have an STDs and you won't be able to pass anything to each other. How do you know you are allergic to condoms if you've never had sex? For your sexual health in the future, you may want to make sure you are truly allergic to them. Visit an allergist. If you ever break up with your current girlfriend, you will have to be extremely careful protecting your health.

Just so you know, there are also condoms made of natural materials. They are not as effective as latex condoms but they are better than nothing.

If you notice irritation, redness or itching after using a condom, you may wonder if you are allergic to the condom. In fact, allergy to rubber (latex) condoms is very unusual, but it would be sensible to switch to a polyurethane type such as Durex Avanti. There have been no reports of allergic responses to the polyurethane material.
