New Drug for H/B called Tekturana?
My, Doctor prescribed this new drug for my H/B.Has anyone experience loss of appetite and weight loss.I have been taking it for 6 wks and have loss 7lbs and I have to force my self to eat,there are days I dont eat and then I get dizzy so then I know I have to eat something.My husband cardio doctor said it should not do this as its not listed as a side effect.The drug just came out in March of this year.

Tekturna (or aliskiren) is used for hypertension. Loss of appetite and weight loss are not listed as side effects.
Are you taking any other medications?
