Does anyone know if you have to pay for the chlamydia screening in Boots and if so How much and do you need an appointment.?

I don't know about yours but my GP surgery gives them away for free to women between 16-25 year. I'd advise checking that out first. But give your local boots a call to find out (it'll be less embarrasing asking over the phone). There's always an STD clinic and then you can be checked for other things too (for free and needs an appointment).
