What's the risk in angioplasty for angina after bypass?!

Question:

What's the risk in angioplasty for angina after bypass?

I am 47 years old. I had 90% blockage 3 years ago and underwent a bypass surgery. I have experienced pain over these 3 years which my cardiologist has detected as angina. However angina seems to occur more often and now at times even 3 hours after my meal. Has anyone undergone an angioplasty after a bypass or knows of possible risks. Please share

Answers:

Sounds like you need a low fat diet. If you already do, there is blockage when demand for digestion. Exercise should also bring it on.

No associated risk I have read of. I had bypass January 2006, angioplasties and two stents, on August 31 (planned), and September 2nd (minor heart attack). I'm 54.

I did a very good rehab, and almost never have any pain. My blockages were 99%, 99%,and 80%. The two 99%-ers are now 100%.
