Question: Has anyone with mild cerebral palys been able to get DLA?

Hi iv got a 9year old son who has mild cerebral palsy (left sided hemiplegia) and iv tried to get DLA 4 times now and has been told hes not allowed it each time so just wondering if anyone has got cerebral palsy and has been able to get it.

I am afraid you can't compare him with anyone else. DLA is given on the basis of disability rather than disease so it is always an individual judgement on a case by case basis.
