Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments available on the Internet – some of them do work. For my eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and then they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: Champori doesn’t need a prescription and comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn't work for you - it's free.
Best,
Gus
My 8 yr old gets pretty bad excema. I dont know of any simple tips
I have about 3 different kinds of creams/ lotions for him. Depending on
How bad it is I choose the right cream. Do you also take an antihistamine e
Like zrytec or something? That will help too. You might want to go back
To your dr and ask for a different kind of cream. Also I read something last year,
I neve asked my sons dr about it, the article was about excema it stated
That if you add 1/4 cup of bleach to your bath water it is suppose to be
Amazing for helping bad excema. I have t tried it with my son yet. I want to
Speak to his dr about it first. Try google "bleach helps excema" and something
Should pop up. Good luck I know how hard it can be to get it under control.
I too have eczema and yes it can be very painful. Usually one with eczema is allergic to foods or other things. I am allergic to things like tomatoes in a can and plants and flowers. I am very allergic to nickel. I have had tests done to see what I am allergic to. It is important to increase the intake of fish oil and zinc. Other vitamins that may help are Vitamin A, Vitamin E and Vitamin C. Also try not to shower or bathe every day. When you do shower or bathe use a scent free lotion such as Lubriderm Intensive Skin Repair, can be used throughout the day. I can not use anything with a scent in it directly on my skin. When the itching gets unbearable I make an oatmeal paste and apply it to the area that is itching. Take 1/4 cup oatmeal and 3-4 tablespoons warm water and mix till it forms a paste. Apply to area that is itching, leave on for about 5-10 minutes then rinse off. Use lotion afterwords. There is a honey that you can use from New Zealand called Manuka honey. You can buy it on line however it is very expensive. Always consult your doctor before trying anything new. I hope this helps.
The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I've turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use serenaskin herbal remedies.
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I continue with eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.
