what are the common results that come with a cbc? for example is 12.1 a result of a cbc? if so is that good?

Answers:

Complete Blood Count. This shows hemoglobin %, total white cells, neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils, monocytes and platelet count. It casnnot be used to diagnose HIV. 12.1 is hemoglobin %, which is normal. Neuts. increase in bacterial infection, lymphos in viral, eosinos in allergic conditions, monos. in malaria and other conditions. Total white cells increase in infection. Hemoglobin is low in anemia. Platelets are low in bone marrow depression, leulemia and idiopathic thromboctic purpura. I hope this was helpful.
