How come when I'm sick with the flu, I have no appetite?!

Question: How come when I'm sick with the flu, I have no appetite?
All I've eaten today was a slice of bread to take some decongestant medicine, and still, I'm not remotely hungry. What's the deal? Can someone tell me why this occurs?

Answers:

Do you have a fever? If you do then you feed a cold and starve a fever. It is better to not eat but to keep hydrated. Usually with the flu you have a fever. our bodies sometimes tries to protect itself by making you not hungry. It can affect the taste buds. Or your stomach may be upset with the mucous.

You can try toast instead of regular bread. The "charcoal" can help settle the stomach. Popsickles can be helpful in keeping hydrated and the coldness can help reduce a fever.
