Very, Very, ILL SHOULD I GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM? Please answer?!

Question: Very, Very, ILL SHOULD I GO TO EMERGENCY ROOM? Please answer?
It started on Wednesday where I got diarrhea and horrible stomach pains, and the symptoms are still there except now I'M VOMITING! I can't hold anything down, not water, Gatorade, Popsicles, nothing. I'm so out of energy and I'm getting dizzy... I'm so dehydrated and I can't drink anything because i vomit it seconds later.

Sounds like food poising you need to get off this site and go to the ER and get an exam to be sure you will be fine and get treatments for what ever is causing you to feel so bad so fast.

had poising before

Yes you should go to the emergency room. Dehydration is very serious and can cause failure of the kidneys. i had that and have had trouble since then. My kidneys did come back without dialysis so I was lucky. Kidney function did reduce from what it should have been, but now, about 4 years later it is improving.

There are medications to help keep you from throwing up and some things to cut down on the diarrhea too. The hospital can put fluids into you by IV and keep you from dehydration. If you are diabetic it is even more serious as illness puts the sugar way up.

I had to go to the hospital once before for deydration and they hooked up an IV and I did recover.

I had a virus both times and it was causing my problem so you may have some kind of infection. It can be very serious and even deadly so you do need to go to the doctor or better to the emergency room as they will take you in right away. If you ae getting dizzy, have someone take you. You can pass out and it can get so bad that you can't stand up very well and can't even walk. So have them bring out a wheelchair at the hospital for you. My husband had a similar thing happen to him and he collapsed on the ground when I was trying to get him out to get in the wheelchair. I had to get someone to get him off the ground. he did have to have dialysis to bring him around and his kidney is doing worse than mine is. He wasn't feeling well but didn't want to go to the emergency room, but he had to go and it was a dangerous situation. Go now.

You should go right now. You can get dehydrated and die. It sounds like a horrible stomach flu, but your intestines or something could be infected and poisioning you. GO TO THE ER ASAP!

Yes, if you are that sick and are getting dehydrated then please go so they can at least put some IV fluids in you. Good Luck

Yes, go to the ER. Suck on ice cubes, but not too many. A couple every 25 minutes. That quantity of water shouldn't come up.

sounds like you may need some IV fluids, you should go to the ER
