Does This Sound Like Testicular Cancer?!

Question: Does This Sound Like Testicular Cancer?
All day today and all day yesterday I have had a bit of an ache in my testicles. I checked and found no lumps and it's not swollen. I checked and I read that testicular cancer "rarely" causes pain in the testicles. I read that it is usually a painless lump. I'm a worrier and I'd like some reassurance. What are the odds of this being testicular cancer? What are the odds that this might kill me? I'm 17 years old.

I don't think the odds of cancer are high. Your very young. And you read correctly, Testicular cancer hardly ever causes pain. And you haven't got a lump so it's probably fine. But go to your doctor anyway to put your mind to bed

I'm a testicular cancer survivor and suggest if you're worried that you go ahead and see your doctor. Symptoms vary greatly from man to man, and many men have no lumps or swelling. And TC is the #1 cancer for men 15-35. The sooner a doctor can catch it the better the prognosis, and most likely the less treatment will be required. It could also be a blocked vein, infection, or benign cyst, but all of those things also need a doctor's attention. Don't worry till you have to - only a doctor can make an accurate diagnosis! This site has links to credible testicular cancer resources, and shows the self-exam with a list of symptoms. Good luck and hopefully it's nothing serious.

Usually having an ache in both testicles is a good sign that it isn't serious.
Especially if the pain occured at the same time.

One million percent.
