Question: I have a bump in the middle on my bottom lip its painful. Fear of oral cancer!!?
I do however pick at my lips sometimes - when dry skin appears, I will pick it off (gross, I know sorry)...but sometimes I pick to the point of drawing blood....Could this potentially be the reason? Maybe it's infected? I'm just a bit of a hypochondriac and I'm truly freaking out that's it's cancer. Unfortunately, yes I do smoke. I KNOW I need to quit, but at this point I'm just freaking out about cancer. Any ideas as to what this could be would really be appreciated! Thank you so much (in advance) ....
