Do some people that arnt diabetics test their blood sugar just for fun?!

Some people who aren't diabetics are worried about being diabetic, so they test. And some are just curious to see what it's like, and what their blood sugar is.

My daughter has tested her blood sugar a few times, because both my husband and I are diabetic. She's always tested in the normal range.

I do! Well, not really for fun, but like someone said it was out of curiosity. My dad is diabetic and my grandpa was too along with my great grandpa and uncle so I knew a lot about it and was curious what my blood sugar was one day. My dad had tested me a few times when I was younger, and I grew up watching him, so I knew how to do it. I tested and got a fairly high number. So that made me even more curious and to make a long story short that curiosity is how I found out that I'm genetically predisposed to diabetes and that even though I live and eat perfectly healthy I'm in the process of developing diabetes. It's for sure normal to be curious, and it can actually help you a lot to understand how that part of your body works! :)

I don't think they do it for fun, parse, but more so out of curiousity. My mom is a diabetic and I have testing my blood sugar using the diabetic strips. It's probably a good thing to do every once in awhile to see what your level is.
If you think you may have diabetes, you should definitely talk to your doctor about it.

Yeah, I'm a type 1 diabetic and my friends are obsessed with knowing what their blood sugars are. I carry around a spare meter with lancets just for them, ha ha :)
