Once you have tinnitus, it is forever. There is no cure for it. Fluids in your ear usually comes from a slight tear or a punctured ear drum. It is recommended to see an ENT for treatment.
Hey, I see you're making some enquiries about possible treatments or remedies for tinnitus. I had a friend who had fairly severe tinnitus and she was able to secure permanent relief for her condition by using some of the remedies that she found in Tinnitus Miracle.
I've since found a video review of Tinnitus Miracle which can be watched at http://mytinnitusmiraclereview.org.
Good Luck!

I did not have it, but it's common and usually it will get better if your ears get better.
The fluid in your ear I assume is part of your upper respiratory tract infection with the sinusitis, and not the effect of a damaged eardrum.
My tinnitus is always worse when I am having sinus problems. It only makes since too when you think about it. Your head is clogged and you have pressure in the ears so you hear that ringing even more. I always wondered it my sinus problem didn't cause my tinnitus.
