I just got bit by a bug...what bug do you think it is?!

I was cleaning the leaves in the backyard and about 20 minutes into it I felt burning on my arm. I looked down and saw a black bug biting me. I brushed it off. The spot where it bit me continued to burn and then got swollen and red. then it became raised and spread out about an inch and a half. I know it wasn't a bee. I think it may have had wings. It has been about 30 minutes since it bit me and it still burns and kind of itches. Does anyone know what bug may have bitten me? Any ideas?
