Given Steroid At Hospital For Allergic Reaction... help?!

Question: Given Steroid At Hospital For Allergic Reaction... help?
about 36 hours ago i was in the ER with swollen lips. I was given some steroids through an IV. When i left i was given a prescription for steroids that i cannot afford to get filled. My question is will i die if i dont take the steroid? Im feeling very weak and tired now that the steroids the hospital gave me after wearing off. What is the normal does a hospital gives you of steroids when you are having an allergic reaction?

it might be odema that is making your lips swell and without the steroids it will go to your tongue and throat, obviously if your throat closes up you choke and die, i was in hospital because of this, cant you borrow the money to pay for your prescription, its very important you get them, dont mess about if your tongue swells, go straight to the hospital...

If you're worried you will die, why are you in the internet asking? GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL AND ASK THEM. Are people really this stupid?
