I have been finding balls of white puss in my mouth and throat.?
I only noticed this after I spit and saw the white balls of puss, does anyone know what this is? The last time I had one it was stuck on my throat and I had to scrap it out.
the balls of puss or whatever have a extremely strong odor, its almost looks like a small clump of cottage cheese, about pea sized.
I really don't know exactly where they are coming from or if its really even puss or not.

A tonsillolith (also called tonsil stone or calculi of the tonsil or bad breath ball ) is a piece or cluster of calcareous matter which forms in the crevasses (called "crypts") of the tonsils.
Tonsil stones, it is theorized, are the result of a combination of any of the following:
food particles
dead white blood cells
oral bacteria, possibly from mouth breathing
overactive salivary glands
They are not harmful. I too get them from time to time due to allergies, sinus problems and mouth breathing.
