can keloids form on the tongue?!

Question: Can keloids form on the tongue?

i'm wondering if i can get a tongue piercing, i am prone to keloids, i have a couple on my arm but those were from very deep cuts. i'm wondering about the tongue because it is a muscle and not skin.

I don't think so. Just take the proper aftercare precautions. Follow them to the letter!

I have a tongue ring. Took excellent care of it. No adverse effects. :)
