Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria, sometimes referred to as Resistant Microbials, is a rising problem in today's world.
1. What exactly is a resistant microbial?
2. How is the united States is dealing with this issue.
3. How is this issue being handled at a global level?
Answers:
I've not heard of any significant plan to deal with this issue. HUGE money is made by the manufacturers of cleaning supplies.
And......
The over use of strong cleaning compounds and sanitizers is contributing to the emergence of new and more powerful strains of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics. We are killing off both the "good" and "bad" bacteria causing the fragile balance of nature to be disturbed. This is very dangerous, since the "good" bacteria killed the "bad" bacteria, that is, before we started over cleaning and started this vicious cycle.
