Question: Which type of diabetes is more serious?
I know both are serious. But there are type 1 and type 2. I know one is more fatal than the other. Don't need a lecture on how both are serious, just answer which is worse. Thanks.

Type 1 is more serious. People who have type 1 are insulin dependent. They need insulin to survive. Their body doesn't produce insulin whatsoever; so type 1 diabetics who are careless with insulin can easily die. It's a disease that has no cure and it can possibly take 8 - 10 years off your life.
Type 2 is controlled by oral medication, diet and exercise.
