Cold sore question--?

I use Abreva every time I feel the "tingling" (meaning I'm about to get a cold sore). The Abreva prevents it from occurring, but I am wondering...Does anyone else get them as much as me? I mean, I get the "tingling" almost every day! What is the meaning of this??? And does anyone know a good way of preventing them?

I get cold sores by not having enough sleep, not drinking enough water, being really stressed, getting my period soon, or being out in the sun a bunch.

I had problems a few years back with them. If you go see your doctor he can prescribe a medication that you can take and they won't come back (unless you stop taking it, etc). It has worked really well for me and I have been cold sore free for a number of years.
