Why do so many of you seem to think that condoms are a guaranteed way to prevent STDs?
Condoms do not prevent everything! Especially not herpes, genital warts, crabs or syphilis. They can also break, and inexperienced people are likely to use them incorrectly. If you really want to prevent STDs have your partners tested before having sex with them, and then use comdoms.

I know what you mean, the standard answer seems to be no glove, no love - and yet it is not true - condoms only give 50% protection against herpes and they don't protect the woman from catching anything during oral sex - and you can catch nearly everything through oral sex. *sigh*
