Answers:

Get to the emergency room, they need to get your blood sugar leveled off, and they are the only ones with the meds to do it.call 911 the hospital will bring you back home.

Anything above 300 is getting dangerous, and I believe 500-600 is in the zone of get help or you may die from some type of complications.

I would try my best to get to the doctor if I were you. I don't see why your mom would be mad if you somehow woke her up and told her whats going on. Wouldn't she want you to not be at risk of anything?

You can try to drink water for now if you really don't want to go to the doctor, I don't know what else to do.

Okay first off calm down, getting stressed will just make it worse. If you have a phone in hand call your mom or anyone near by to come and help you. Your health comes first in these types of situations. An ambulance is not neccessary unless you feel like your about to faint or fall into a comma. The only way to get rid of high BG without meds is by drinking LOTS of water and peeing A LOT. You probably ate a lot before you went off to bed or a lot of carbs. Better make an appt, with the doct.High blood sugars can lead to comma and death.

You're on your way to diabetic ketoacidosis. This is a serious medical emergency that will kill you if left untreated, and still does kill about 10% of people who develop it. This is not something to put off treating. If you start to feel nauseous or start vomiting, call 911. Otherwise, get to an ER, quickly.

I've been in DKA, twice.

this is your life they have no right to deny you medical care. Go to the ER by ambulance

You are suffering a sugar spike. These are sudden and relatively large increases in your blood sugar levels. You generally experience spikes in your blood sugar after eating, especially if the meal was particularly sweet. Although spikes normally go beyond the usual blood sugar threshold of 180 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL), those that measure 350mg/dL or more are considered to be dangerous blood sugar spikes. When sudden high blood sugar levels approach 500 to 600mg/dL, the spikes can result in either comas or death. It is good that you are testing your blood.

When an individual eats, the sugars contained in the food are absorbed into the blood in order to fuel the body's metabolic processes. When this occurs, blood sugar levels naturally spike up when measured. In response, the body produces insulin to lower the high blood sugar levels. As a result, normal blood sugar spikes typically last around two hours. If blood sugar spikes do not significantly settle down after two hours, it is possible that the pancreas is not functioning properly, or the body's ability to utilize insulin is compromised.

If blood sugar spikes reach upwards of 350mg/dL, yet the amount of sugar consumed wasn't particularly large, it is likely that you have hyperglycemia, or abnormally high blood sugar level. Blood sugar spikes that measure this large can pose large risks to hyperglycemic patients, as these individuals often have difficulty in lowering their blood sugar. Such spikes can lead to dizziness, fatigue, and even chest pains. People with hyperglycemia might even lose consciousness after massive blood sugar spikes.

There are cases when blood sugar spikes can result in serious neurological damage and prove to be fatal. When you reach these levels you are considered to be in the hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state. The hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state is achieved when several large blood sugar spikes occur in succession without ample recovery time in between. Is this your first spike? When in this state, individuals can go into shock and even fall into comas. In the most severe cases, the hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state can lead to death.

If the body is unable to efficiently lower blood sugar through insulin production, there are several ways to manage blood sugar spikes. Drinking ample amounts of water can help dilute any excess sugar, as well as promote healthy liver and kidney function. Taking one or two tablespoons of vinegar has also been found to lower blood sugar levels during spikes. In case of an alarmingly large spike, however, it is highly recommended to seek a doctor's advice. In your case try the water and vinegar and watch what you eat until you see your doctor and get medication which should be asap.

You need to see your doctor once this is over in order to get on insulin to prevent this from happening to you again especially if you continue to eat meals high in carbs or sweets as your body can no longer handle this amount of sugar and this can be very dangerous if these spikes continue on a regular basis. Your doctor can refer you to a dietician who can help you plan your meals but most important you need to get on medication.

Get checked asap. Hope this helps.

Jah , obviously your doctor is a Quack. You should have began treatment a long time ago. You must forget the family . If they won't help then you have to do it on your own. You must see a doctor as soon as possible. So you get home at 10 pm. It's your body. Damage is being done after glucose levels reach 140.

Here is what you have to do for life . You don't want to go blind, foot amputations , heart problems plus painful Diabetic Neuropathy. So let's get on with it. It won't heal itself.

There are 4 key steps to controlling glucose levels :

1) EXERCISE- Walking is fine but Nordic Walking is Great. Exercise also lowers Glucose levels , lowers Cholesterol and lowers Blood Pressure. Google it.Exercise is Non-Negotiable !!!Thats why it is Number 1 on the list.
2) Knowledge- http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes/index.ph… This is a great site for info
3) Meds. Metformin to start. Never , ever take Actos or Avandia. They may kill you. Bone fractures, heart problems and what diabetics really don't need is that they change Bone Stem Cells to Fat Cells. Also never ever take Onglyza or Januvia . They can can inhibit the bodys immune system and let cancer spread.
4) Diet- A low carb diet is in order. I can't count carbs so I use Mendosa's Glycemic Index Diet. Great for the whole family. http://www.mendosa.com/gilists.htm

Good luck to you, if you have to crawl out to the road and hitch a ride , Do IT !!
