Can having an STD affect testosterone?!


Question: Can having an STD affect testosterone?
Could having an infection such as Gonorrhea Epididymis or Chlamydia for a long period of time lower testosterone levels?

Hi no they are not related so treatment whilst Chlamydia can be easily treated ,Epididymis will take a more prolonged specialist antibiotic regime Ok ?

Not really. Some of the factors that affect testosterone levels is obesity, lower then normal metabolism, chronic consumption of alcohol, aging, and other hormones in your body can affect the way you produce testosterone. Stds usually don't affect your hormones. If you think you have a lower level of testosterone you can always see your doctor and have them suggest some hormone replacement therapies.
