Answers:

Moving or talking while taking BP.

Not using the same arm for BP readings, your right arm may be higher or lower than the blood pressure in your left arm (need to try to use same arm for everyday BP readings.

Taking BP at wrong time of day. BP is highest in the morning and lowest in the evening.

Placing the cuff in the wrong position ( cuff should be about 1 inch above the bend of your elbow).

Not having the cough tight enough but loosely hanging.

Not hearing properly (if using a manual cuff and stethascope)

Not having upper arm at same level as the heart (arm should be slighlty bent and resting comfortably).

Not having the proper size cuff.
