Cooking fat burns, anything to get rid of them?!
Question: Cooking fat burns, anything to get rid of them?
K, so heres the thing. I work around hot vats of fat at a fish'n'chip shop, and when i cook the fat sometimes splashes and gets my face, neck, wrists and forearms. And now ive got speckles and marks in those areas. The burns really annoy me, because they're scarring and theyre irratating to look at. I need a product that will help get rid off, or heal the burns. Or a method to help reduce scaring in future incidents when i get burnt. PLEASE AND THANKYOUUU. :)

I had the same problem when I worked at a fastfood place in highschool.
Get an aloe vera plant, or just buy a bottle of it from the store. That stuff feels heavenly if applied when there's a breeze nearby.. You should be allowed to apply it at work... otherwise it would reflect badly on the employer. You'd just have to wash up/change gloves after using it.
Maybe you could talk to management about wearing light long-sleeve shirts etc under the uniform so as to prevent the burning?
I hope this helps :/
