Why am I finding it hard to breathe?!

Question: Why am I finding it hard to breathe?

I have a cold so I have been in bed all day and I can't breathe properly. I'm doing deep breaths and I have to yawn or drink water to get a full breath. It's okay when I stand up but when I'm lying down...
What do you think this is? I don't have asthma or at least I think I don't...
This has happened before...
