Why was I born with holes in my ear lobes?!
Question: Why was I born with holes in my ear lobes?
Basically, when I was born i've had a hole in both my ear lobes, which look basically like their pierced, but they never were. Ive tried putting an earring in to see if it goes all the way through but it doesn't, it goes like a half of the way through. Even when I got my ears pierced, the woman didn't believe that I hadn't done before.
Anyway i'm just curious as too why I was born with holes in my ears - they definitley were NOT pierced.

I was born the same. I have 4 piercing like marks throughout the outer ear helix. I am still looking for answers. I had a belief that this is a sign for a unknown (atleast unknown to us) hidden syndrome? I`ve being doing some reading about this subject. Didnt get a hold of anything that make sense to me...yet!
hmm well that seems weird. well im sure its nothing to worry about but if it bothers you go to a doctor and they might be able to answer your question because i've never heard of this before.

My brother has those too but they are on the cartilage part of his ear. My mom doesn't know why though
