How can I 'heal' my dry and cracked hands?!

Question: How can I 'heal' my dry and cracked hands?
My hands are extremely sore, dry and cracked! Skin is peeling off and there's some sort of blister type thing forming on my finger, I know my hands have been in contact with a lot of water and the cold weather isn't helping either. Is there a special technique or steps I can take to get them better in a few days. Usually I would apply hand cream at night and wash it off in the morning, but this time my hands are worse.

E45 cream always works for me.

Go to a bicycle shop and ask for the creme riders use. It is miraculous stuff. Use it. Start wearing gloves when your hands are going to be in water. Wear gloves when you are outside in the cold. Keep them moisturized with the bike-user creme (there are several brands). When you apply the cream at night, put on cotton gloves.

There's a name for it. I've had it for years.

Soak your hands in hot water.
Apply vaseline.
Never use a product with perfume or alcohol in it.
Cover in an old sock or saran wrap.

Go to bed.

If this doesn't help it is time to see the doctor for cortisone cream.

make a hand soak using warm water and add some milk powder, honey and olive oil.
soak ur hands for as long as you can afford to. after that, rinse and immediately apply natural hand cream to seal in moisture.

the vaseline under clean socks over night helps. also shea butter or cocoa butter as they are most like skin sebum. i hurt my hands shoveling snow. fisherman's friend in the day time. corn huskers isn't strong enough for this.

l dont 'know'.
