This is probably going to sound gross but this is what I did. I rubbed a little but of hurricane (numbing agent) on the spot of my toe, and then I cut my toenails, when I got to the spot that was ingrown, I just pulled it out slowly. It worked right away, didn't bleed, and wasn't even sore after the hurricane wore off.
