Can you die if i have shortness of breath?
i smoke and have anxiety and asma and today i have been have shortness of breath but when im sleeping supposedly i dont supposedly im breathing fine and you die my heart doesn't hurt or chest im 20 by the way

Although smoking is very bad for your health, you're probably just suffering from anxiety. Since you're so concerned, just remember this: If you hyperventilate and feel you're going to pass out, you'll just begin breathing normally again if you do. I used to suffer also and once I was told this, my panic attacks became less and less. Eventually, I realized that I was not going to die and recovered fully.
