im scared too!!!! but i know i shouldn't be! i live in north carolina but im going to texas over the summer which is close to mexico where the disease came from!! i think you are pretty much safe where your at but its always good to be cautious and be aware of your surroundings!! i have no idea if it will wipe out the ENTIRE human race, but its good to be on the look out for symptoms!! hope i helped :D
I have had it, It kicked my a$$ but I fought it off after a week or so. If your an adult and still young, I don't think you have much to worry about.
