Vaginal Discharge/ STD?!

Since puberty, and since i began shaving 'down there', I would occasionally get a cyst down there, which would go away after about a month. I have been sexually active for about a year now, and recently I have had some clear, watery vaginal discharge. It has a smell to it at times, and when it comes out it feels as if I'm having my period.

I'm just curious, is this normal? Or is it a symptom of something else?
